In the last century, an ancient healing system was rediscovered by Mikao Usui, a Japanese scholar and Buddhist monk. He named it Reiki 
(meaning universal life force energy). 
Today many people are feeling the benefits of 
this form of healing as it grows in popularity and recognition.

It is a gentle yet very powerful healing energy that can work at either a physical, emotional or mental level, or a combination of all three. Since most disease is a 
reflexion of disease at an emotional and/or mental level, 
once harmony and balance are restored 
at the higher levels, then often the disease 
at the physical level will dissipate or disappear.

Reiki can produce significant changes of state if given the chance. Beneficial effects can be: relief from 
pain and stress, a sense of re-energising, 
a reduction of anxiety and anger, sleep pattern improvement and can be of support in immune system breakdowns such as AIDS, Cancer and ME.

Reiki helps to clear blockages in the energy 
system of the body. It is an excellent non-verbal 
form of treatment that can help to clear problems 
that the body has been holding on to, bringing 
the person back into a much improved 
state of balance.

  It is a non-invasive treatment and can be done with the practitioner's hands held above the body 
throughout, should you not wish to be touched.

I teach Reiki in small groups of 1 or 2 people 
and therefore am generally able to complete 
the course in one full day from 9.00am - 6.00pm (each level should be taken at least 3 months apart)
